I spent $19.04 out of pocket this month (after returning 5 cookie doughs and getting $16.95 cash back) for $1145.82 in food (retail value) I will get back a $10 Publix gift card from Publix/Conagra rebate and a $3.19 rebate from Digiorno. I also ended with 2 $4 catalinas from Winn Dixie and 10 $3 RRs from Walgreen's.
That gives me a profit of $32.15 for the month!!!

Where do you purchase your meat?
I have a lot of chicken in my freezer already and I got 3 packs at Winn Dixie this month with "$ off chicken when you buy kraft cheese" coupons. I also got some pork chops from Publix with coupons that were "$ off pork chops wyb Kraft cheese". Red meat we don't eat much here.... I do have some steaks in my freezer from a Target sale and I got hamburger meat at Publix with some "$ off ground beef when you buy Kraft" coupons. I got 29 pouches of tuna for free at Albertsons this month so we do tuna helper/tuna casserole and things like that. I also got 10 Seasations at Publix this month for free.
Either last month or the month before I got a TON of TGI Fridays Skillet meals and we have those about once a week (fajitas).
And tonight we had Jennie-O Turkey burgers complements of Publix!!
Oh I also got a TON of oscar mayer hot dogs for free from both winn dixie and publix when it was bogo and I had free coupons.
oh i just found areceipt I didn't enter in my spreadsheet so I am going to go revise my numbers. I knew I had gotten perdue chicken nuggets and didn't see it in the spreadsheet, found the receipt waiting to be entered on my desk!
How in the world do you keep up with all that? I don't know spreadsheets at all.
I have a good spreadsheet and after I shop, I enter it all in my spreadsheet from my receipt.
I did just realize that I never entered all those 32 oreo cakesters that I got for free. It won't change my OOP but it would change the retail value of food by $80 hehehehe
do you want me to email you the spreadsheet? give me your email address (I don't know if I have it saved or not)
You are unbelievable! I have saved so much, with your help!I love when you give us your tips on how to do your purchases to spend the least amout of money. I am the one that had day care in my home. I sold 400.00 at my garage sale selling items I got for free or near free. Check out the newspaper piece on me at www.adrianasatticinc.org on the news and events page. Again thank you Amy!
Rita
Sure Amy, that would be great :)

You are so welcome Rita!!! I have learned so much over time and I love to share what I have learned. I wasn't as good in the beginning and I wish I had had someone to tell me how to do it all back then!!!
Amber, I will email you both a blank one and the one from my shopping in June. That way you can see how I fill it out. Each month I just take the blank one and click save as and name it the month, and then start adding info so I always have the blank one to use the next month.
OMG RITA IS YOUR HUSBAND A CPA????
I think I have been to your house and talked to you before. You aren't doing childcare anymore??? WOW ITS SUCH A SMALL WORLD!!!!
yes he is a CPA and he does a lot of family child care homes taxes. Did you come to my home in Eastwood?
Yep a few times over the years. I did my own taxes the last few years though.
You guys are so nice!!!
Also I always was very jealous of your daycare playroom and backyard, they were AWESOME!!!
Hey are you selling any of your daycare stuff???? Mainly the furniture type stuff !!!!
Also, I may be calling him again next year, I have a few changes in my income and I don't know if I will be able to figure it out by myself or not (all the advertisers income from my blog). I know it would be simple for him to do though.
THE DAY CARE STUFF IS ALL SOLD! I MISS THE KIDS BUT I AM STAYING BUSY WITH MY CHARITY! MY PHONE # IS ON THE WEB SITE!
RITA
I don't get it... why did you buy 5 cookie doughs and return them? Was it supposed to be a profitable thing?
The cookie dough was recalled by the company due to an possible ecoli scare. So the company advised consumers to take it back to the store for a refund.
Amy, also don't forget you garage sale as income too--hehehe LOL
Thanks Amber for answering about the cookie dough, I could not stay awake any longer last night LOL
I bought the cookie dough because I wanted it but then it was recalled and the news article told you to take it back to the store for your money back, so I did. They gave me full cash value back. I didn't do it just to make money, but since I got cash back, I took it out of my out of pocket spending.
Yes, I had one garage sale last month too... it had been LONG overdue... I made $485 (I have never seen so many people crammed into my garage buying bags and bags of stuff HAHAHHAA
